Marvin Windows and Doors - Built around you.

Stockwell Park Crescent

Built in a conservation area on the site of what used to be an empty old people's home the Stockwell Park Crescent Development consists of 11 new build homes; six five-bedroom semis and five three-bedroom terrace houses. Because of strict building regulations, these new homes in South London ar identical to adjacent Victorian properties, even the iron railings outisde had to be exact replicas of those in the properties opposite This development scores highly for its interior finish and use of high quality materials. No expense was spared when constructing this development and there was also no meanness with the window sizes. "We wanted to bring Chelsea south of the river. Our approach here has been no different from what we have done in our developments in Knightsbridge and Kensington," says Julian Mercer of BMB Property Investment.
Prices start at £695,000 for the three-bedroom houses and £895,000 for the five-bedroom houses.

The Design & Build contract was negotiated with BMB Developments through their SPV "Stockwell Park LLP". The project programme had a 16 week pre-construction period followed by a 56 week construction period. Marvin Architectural supplied and installed the windows and doors for this development. Being in a conservation area, it was important that the new windows and doors replicated the original ones in every detail from the glazing bar size and pattern to the detailed architraving and traditional hardware. With their extensive experience in the industry Marvin Architectural was able to offer Como Homes the traditional solid wood marvin Sliding Sash window - a beautifully handicrafted traditional looking window with all the benefits of modern technology. In order to fit in to the construction schedule Marvin Achitectural worked very closely with the developers and assisted by compiling full technical drawings and section details of the windows and doors prior to order, setting out a consistent delivery and works schedules and completing full installation of the windows by their dedicated Marvin installation teams within the very tight time frame given.
